Chevening Scholarship
Amount: Full Postgraduate tuition fees
Eligibility: Please check the full list of criteria

Applications for this scholarship will reopen in September 2025.
Commonwealth Scholarship
Amount: Full Postgraduate tuition fees, airfare to and from the UK and a living allowance
Eligibility: Citizen or permanent resident of a Commonwealth country, undergraduate honours degree of at least upper second class and you must be unable to afford to study in the UK without the scholarship.

MDX Sport Scholarships
Amount: we will provide financial support which may be used towards training and competition expenses, as well as a range of benefits and access to the Athlete Support Programme
Eligibility: You must be competing at a regional or national level in your sport

The deadline for applications is mid-September (the exact date changes each year, but is specified on the website).
MDX Student Starter Kit
Our MDX Student Starter Kit gives you the tools you need to kick-start your studies, and hopefully worry less about your budget.
Amount: Package including tech, food and drink vouchers and a grant worth up to £1,000
Eligibility: You must be a new student (joining the University in September 2025) and studying any subject at undergraduate level.
There are a limited number of kits available, so we’re looking for students to share how this support will help them succeed at Middlesex.
To be eligible for a kit, you’ll need to:
- Apply for Middlesex to start in Autumn 2025 (this must be your first undergraduate degree).
- Meet the full criteria and adhere to our t’s and c’s on the registration form.
The Alumni Postgraduate Award
Amount: Reduction of up to 20% of the tuition fee
Eligibility: International alumni can benefit from 20% off their master's fees if they are not in receipt of any regional awards. Students who have already been awarded a Middlesex degree and are returning to complete a second programme of study who are self-financing.
Alumni from our Academic Partner Institutions are entitled to a 10% reduction in fees.
Discounts on campus
MDXMoves
MDXMoves is a free-to-use physical activity app for Middlesex University students. Whether you are walking, running, cycling or swimming, you can earn points for keeping active.
You are rewarded with points that can be redeemed for a variety of goodies from retailers and brands both on and off campus. Get things like free coffees, massage, gym memberships, Amazon vouchers, spot prizes and more.

Free food for students
To help ensure that students can get a meal when coming to campus, free breakfasts and dinners twice a week will be available from the hot food counter in the Quad.
Breakfast will be served on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10am to 12pm and dinner will be served on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 4pm to 5.45pm.
Student Oyster card
If you're 18 or over, a student and living in a London borough, you can get discounted travel with an Oyster photocard.
Students can save 30% on adult-rate Travelcards and Bus & Tram Pass season tickets with an Oyster card.
